Being a mother is hard work. So many of us strive so hard to be perfect, but none of us are. The perfect mom is a lot like Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny. She does not exist. As mothers, we need to realize that most of us are doing our best. We need start forgiving ourselves and realizing that we are great, flaws & all.

I feel like all too often we are rushing to get to the next great milestone or event in life and forgetting to embrace the moments right in front of our faces. Let us not forget to savor today because tomorrow is never promised.
Mirror, Mirror on the Wall, It Does Not Matter…
This may be a familiar image and poem to most of you, although many unfortunately do not know that I wrote it. My words and my sweet little girl’s face have been shared all over the internet with other people and sites taking the credit for it.
